Folk Flowers Quilt

It is completed!
For the back, I have used a flower print that reminds me my grand-parents folding long chairs (during the 70's). It's a warm and joyful print. A lot of its colors can be found in the top.

As most of the time I have used a simple stitch in the ditch that outlines the flowers and leaves.
This quilt as well as the pattern are available for sale on my Etsy shop.
I love holding a new quilt in my hands. And as always, my mind is already set on another project... a smal "meditation wall hanging quilt".

Rain

As we just moved in a new house few days ago, there is a lot of work to do in the garden. Those past days, I have spend a lot of time preparing the ground to seed a lawn. And finally, rain comes so... I can come back to my quilt without feeling guilty!
Now the blocks are finished. I think I will add a white frame to make the design lighter.

I add a picture of my featherweight, that give me so much pleasure to sew. When I bought it last year, I thought it might be uncomfortable because it is so small compared to other sewing machine. Wrong! It is just a delight to sew with this beauty. It runs so smooth and I love all its sounds (buttons, motor, etc). Those who have one know what I am talking about!
So I thought I had to put it in this blog, like a tribute to its beauty...and just to say "Thank you dear sewing machine!"
